Summary:
This abstract describes a project undertaken in Troms County in Norway.
In Norway and in most of the western world it is a lack of recruitment to technology, science and mathematics in all part of the society from primary school to business and industry. We want to develop a further education course to teachers in secondary and comprehensive school through cooperation between the university, postgraduate college and business, trade and industry. We want to show the connection between the teaching and how technology, science and mathematics are used in different professions and trades.
