Urban adolescents, though motivated, eager to learn, and anxious about their future, often lack access to the economic mainstream. They have neither connections to the larger workplace nor understanding of its culture. Equally true, business has difficulty finding qualified employees. FUTURES AND OPTIONS INC., staffed by experienced educators, prepares, places, and supervises high school seniors and juniors in paid internships with outstanding results for both students and employers.
